The job itself

The Consortium Academy Trust (TCAT) is seeking to appoint a Facilities Assistant (Caretaker) to join our Central Services team. Based at Holderness Academy, working under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the successful candidate will develop and maintain a Facility Maintenance Programme providing effective and efficient customer service. If you are looking for a varied and interesting opportunity, then we want to hear from you! This role is shift work and will including weekends and evenings.

Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Conscientious of safety importance and efficient customer service
  • Develop and maintain a high standard of security and presentation throughout the school
  • Ensure continuity of the use of the buildings and grounds for school and community

You will be proficient and competent in the safe and effective use of building management systems and all associated mechanical and electrical plant.
