The team covers the whole of the East Riding geographical area and the ability to meet the travel requirements of the post is essential, for which a mileage allowance can be claimed.

The successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge and experience in the management of, and effective practice in, complex safeguarding concerns and enquiries. This will include a multi-agency approach, working with people and carers to minimise the risk of harm and neglect, to adhere to the Making Safeguarding Personal principles. Working with people to determine outcomes of Section 42 Enquiries and to build and maintain individual, family and social networks.
