An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Care Worker for the Bridlington and Driffield Community Mental Health Team.
Bridlington and Driffield Community Mental Health Team is a specialist team which supports working aged adults who experience mental health difficulties. This team is multidisciplinary with staff members from East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the NHS.
The role of care worker is to support individuals to work towards recovery goals using strength-based practice and enable people to develop mental health skills and manage mental health independently within the community.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting Social Care and NHS Care Coordinators within the team to provide individual goal planning, supportive interventions, monitor recovery, signposting and promote good mental health, resilience, and social inclusion.
The successful candidate should ideally have experience working with working aged adults and a good understanding of mental health needs.
It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent communication skills, can work to own initiative and be person centred in their approach.
The post holder must hold a full driving licence, as the post requires community travel which a mileage allowance is paid. This post is based in Driffield with occasional working into Bridlington.
