We are keen to recruit an experienced and innovative professional to join an award winning Asset Management Team.
You will play a lead role in a team responsible for forward planning, developing projects, setting asset management investments, bidding, acting as the project sponsor and allocating and monitoring the resource allocation for the Council's budget across a broad and varied land and property portfolio within the East Riding. You also will have a key role in development and shaping of property solutions to respond to post Covid changes on estate requirements.
The postholder will play a key role working within a multidisciplinary professional team across both internal clients and external organisations. You will have a high level of understanding and experience of property and buildings related matters, planning, property management, resource allocation and budget management, together with extensive financial and data analysis skills. A high level of interpersonal, management and presentation skills are also required, together with a talent for innovation. Duties include asset management, programme & project management, business case and project development, strategic planning, analysis, report writing and stakeholder management.
We seek qualified and experienced building/property professionals, preferably from an RICS background, applicants with RIBA, BIFM, CIOB or CIBSE qualifications with the appropriate experience and skills will also be considered. We are looking for someone with tenacity, drive, creativity and commercial acumen. The successful candidate should ideally also possess, strong negotiation and advocacy skills and be persuasive communicator.
