The Old School House provides residential care to older people with Dementia. We seek committed, self-motivated and reliable individuals to deliver high quality care and support to our residents.

We currently have a vacancy for Night Care Assistant at 24.75 hours per week to boost our existing staff team. The role is working 3 nights per week covering 22:45 to 07:00. This is a 4 week rolling rota including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.

Duties include ensuring the personal care and physical care needs of the residents are met. You will also work with individuals to ensure the highest standards of dignity and independence are achieved. The post will involve working in some difficult and complex situations as presentations in dementia vary significantly. The role is challenging but extremely rewarding. If you enjoy working with people and have a desire to improve the quality of life for older people with dementia in residential care then we would welcome your application.

NVQ / QCF qualifications would be advantageous as well as a willingness to take on any relevant training to meet the requirements of the post.

Should you require any advice or support in completing the application process, or for an informal discussion regarding the post please contact Barry Cansfield at The Old School House, Beverley: 01482 868118.
