The Community Support Services team at Driffield provides support for vulnerable people over the age of 18 in their home environment.
We are recruiting to a Team Leader role, who will be required to provide effective management and support to a team of Community Support Workers and Carer Relief Sitters, to support the delivery of both the Re-ablement and Carer Relief services to adults.
The role will support staff in working to individual customer care plans, to achieve best possible outcomes for our customer group. It will also be responsible for all aspects of Community Support Workers and Sitters staff management, including:
Recruitment and selection, induction of new employees, staff supervision, training, performance management, customers medication management, staff conduct, employee development reviews, proactively managing staff absence and maintaining training data in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures.
You will be expected to work in partnership with other agencies, including in-house teams, to ensure a smooth delivery of services. Accurately recording customer information on ERYC information systems, including an electronic rota management system, to support the delivery of a high quality cost effective service that is compliant with CQC Standards.

These position is 37 hours based from Driffield Community Hub, however some of your rota time will be spent out in the community when managing staff.
Monday – Sunday (including Bank Holidays) as part of a shift rotation between the hours of 7.00 am – 10.00 pm.
