The Community Support Service is seeking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic people, who feel they can make a difference to vulnerable people living in the community, either in their own homes or being supported in our Active Recovery units.

The role

The Community Support Worker's role is to work with individuals providing support to help them regain their independence, whether in their own home or in an active recovery setting. You will be expected to take an active role in identifying meaningful and achievable goals that matter to the person being cared for. This in turn will promote good health, wellbeing, a sense of purpose and self worth. You will become a valued member of the team that help people to direct their own recovery and reduce the risk of them returning to hospital. This will also involve working with other professionals and care staff.

Community Support Workers cover a wide range of locations that are split in to the following Zones:

  • Zone 1: Holderness
  • Zone 2: Bridlington / Driffield
  • Zone 3: Beverley / Haltemprice
  • Zone 4: Pocklington
  • Zone 5: Goole
