The Beechwood Independent Supported Living Scheme is recruiting to two vacancies within the team that provides 24 hour support to ten people who have a learning disability / autism in their own flats.
The role
Working with individuals to ensure the highest standards of dignity and independence are achieved, the role will require you to ensure the individual support needs of our service users are met on a daily basis.
We currently have a vacancy – this role will work allocated shifts per week on a rolling rota including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
Shift patterns are between the hours of :
- 3pm – 10.45pm
- 7am – 3pm
The Candidate must:
- Have experience of working or volunteering in a caring/ social care/ community or setting.
- Have awareness of the needs of people with a learning disability and autism.
- Have a caring and empathetic approach.
