The Community Support Service is seeking to recruit flexible, motivated and enthusiastic people who feel they can make a difference to vulnerable people living in their own homes.
The Community Support Workers role is to work with individual’s providing support to help them regain their independence in their own home.
You will be expected to take an active role in identifying meaningful and achievable goals that matter to the person being cared for. This in turn will promote good health, wellbeing, a sense of purpose and self- worth. You will become a valued member of the team that help people to direct their own recovery and reduce the risk of them returning to hospital.
This will also involve working with other professionals and care staff.
Community Support Workers cover a wide range of location that are split into the following zones:
Different shifts are available between the hours of 07.30am - 22.00pm 7 days a week. These shifts are on a 2 week rolling rota.
