Beverley Minster CE VC Primary School is a friendly, popular and vibrant community.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working and friendly team. The post will be temporary, to work in FS2/KS1 from September 2023 until August 2024.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have recent, successful experience working supporting children in an Early Years environment.
  • Be appropriately qualified and hold at least an approved level 2 qualification (see Early Years Framework)
  • Have a positive approach to learning and supporting children with their behaviour
  • Are able to establish and maintain high expectations by developing clear boundaries reinforced through a firm and caring approach
  • Are competent in delivering early English (including phonics) and Maths
  • Want to join a friendly professional team who work together to improve the learning outcomes for every child in our school
  • Have the attitude and ability to ensure that their contribution will make a positive impact on the learning opportunities for our pupils
  • Motivate, engage and enthuse children, so that they learn well and are excited to participate in activities
  • Be flexible and willing to attend training relevant to your post
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
  • Use their initiative exceptionally well to ensure pupils are safe and happy
  • Be flexible, resilient and have the ability to think on their feet;
