The job itself

Teaching Assistant for 1:1 in the mornings and Reading Champion in the afternoons.

We are looking for an individual to join our team to work with a pupil in year 2 with SEND needs for 3 mornings per week, which will also include lunchtime cover. Afternoon sessions are
also offered to become our Reading Champion, working with children will all abilities and ages across KS1 and KS2.

The successful candidate will have experience in working with children and will possess the drive and passion to deliver our reading targets. You will also be flexible, as priorities may change and the role may require adapting to deliver new intervention/classroom based priorities.

The role is initially for one year fixed, however there is a great possibility that this may be extended. This is an excellent opportunity to join our friendly, caring team who
ensure the progression of each individual child is at the heart of everything we do.
