A full-time Support Services Assistant is required at the Melton Depot as part of the C&CS Support Team, providing clerical and administrative support to the Libraries, Museums and Archives teams.
Duties include raising orders and the payment of invoices, cash handling, mail-outs and processing of timesheets. You will liaise with and assist the operational teams based at Melton and numerous locations within the East Riding. You will also maintain manual and computerised information systems, take telephone festival bookings and carry out general administration duties.
You will have achieved a good standard of education, clerical experience, computer literacy and have excellent communication and customer care skills. A flexible and positive approach, together with the ability to adapt to a changing environment is essential. Enthusiasm and commitment are important to provide a quality service where teamwork plays a vital role. Experience of Microsoft Office would be advantageous.
