The Mobile Library Service is looking to recruit a proactive and outgoing team member to support the delivery of the service. This role is primarily based in our offices in Melton, however on occasion you may be asked to accompany a Mobile Library out to site to cover staff absences or participate in outreach events.
You should have a warm, personable nature, a can-do attitude and strong organisational skills. You will provide excellent customer care, have a genuine enthusiasm for working with people of all ages and be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.
You must be able to use your initiative and prioritise your workload whilst working to a consistently high standard, sometimes under pressure.
Regular tasks include:
The role can be physically demanding. You will be assisting other colleagues, moving library stock to and from shelves. Stock work is a key responsibility of this post and you will also be restocking the warehouse area and loading/unloading crates of library materials.
