The job itself

We are seeking a full time Business Technician to join our team in Business Development.

Would you like to be part of a friendly team playing an active role within Business Development in Culture and Customer Services based at East Riding Leisure Beverley and home working.

The successful applicant will review and support the Business Development Team in their continuing efforts to improve the membership processing in the leisure environment. Additional tasks will include booking and administering all of the services, including the health schemes which support approximately 5000 patients a year.

You will administer the processing of corporate memberships. You will also administer and raise charges for the provision of training courses and administer leisure services IT systems, including the tills. You must have the confidence to manage customer contact via the telephone, email, social media, databases, IT, face to face and at events and meetings, as well as being able to deal with issues of a sensitive nature and be able to deliver information clearly.

The ideal candidate will understand the need for flexibility in terms of working in order to meet the requirements of the service. We are also looking for good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. The successful candidate will have experience of good customer service and working successfully as a team and on own initiative.
