Service Area: Children’s Centres

Place of Work: Beverley Children’s Centre (Due to the pandemic currently predominantly from home)

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated person, who is able to support the Children’s Centre leadership team to support continuous service improvement, by leading on projects that enhance the work being delivered in Children’s Centres. The role is pivotal to the support for families with young children through our 18 Children’s Centres and has arisen due to the secondment of the current post holder to another post within the Council.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and committed individual, who is passionate about improving outcomes for children. The successful candidate will:

  • Have the drive and ambition to lead on projects that support Children’s Centre Leaders to deliver effective services to families
  • Develop systems and procedures to support consistent ways of working across all Children’s Centres
  • Lead on evaluating practice and sharing learning
  • Have the analytical and IT skills to analyse, report and evaluate complex data sets
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to present to a wide range of audiences
  • Need to be familiar with the policy and guidance related to Sure Start Children’s Centres
  • Have experience of working on a variety projects and have knowledge of Children’s Centre services.
  • Contribute towards service development within a multi-agency context.
  • Have the ability to effectively engage with partner agencies to develop an integrated service 

You will have a degree level qualification in a related field.
