East Riding of Yorkshire Council are looking to appoint two full time Education Public Health Officers into their Inclusion and Access team.
This follows the positive support offered to our schools and academies throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. These posts will support head teacher and senior leaders from early years providers, schools and academies to continue to work in collaboration with public health and other health related services. The aim of this work is to ensure educational establishments identify notifiable and infectious diseases and manage these in line with UKHSA guidance, to maximise safe access to face-to-face education.
These posts will also take a lead on health-related programmes of support (vaccinations, immunisations, oral health etc.) for pupils on roll at East Riding Schools and those who are educated otherwise.
This is an exciting opportunity, if you are an experienced and dedicated senior leader looking for a new challenge, please have a look at the attached job outline and employee specification.
