In the children and young people’s directorate we are expanding our management structure to reflect our priorities and ambitions outlined in a number of transformation programmes cross directorate and to reflect our integrated commissioning priorities and are now looking to recruit to a Head of Integrated Commissioning position. The postholder will join our Specialist Services Directorate Leadership Team and will drive forward our integrated commissioning ambitions.
Children, young people and families in East Riding are our priority, and we are looking for leadership that will help us achieve our priorities and vision, championing child centred practice and continuous improvement with energy and passion.
You will be able to work on outcomes-based commissioning models and have a real impact on the services we develop and commission. You will be a creative thinker who can develop innovative solutions to improve outcomes for children, young people and families and provide value for money.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of commissioning activity including the commissioning of services for children with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as services for looked after children and care leavers.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop creative solutions in a challenging market. You will have a good understanding of developing effective, integrated commissioning which is needs led.
