We are currently looking for Advanced Social Workers to join our highly regarded and consistently high performing Social Work team based in Goole.

We are seeking applications from dynamic candidates who have the leadership qualities to manage change and motivate staff to achieve their full potential who have 3+ years post qualifying experience within safeguarding social work. We will also be looking for commitment to best practice and professionals who are committed to improving the lives of children and young people.

The Candidate

  • You will have 3 years or more experience of working in a children's social care setting with experience of complex case work.
  • You will have experience of court work, assessments as well as direct work with children and families.
  • You will be able and committed to writing child’s plans to a high standard each evidencing the voice of children, young people and families throughout the process.
  • You will have leadership qualities and be able to support your colleagues to develop their practice. Ideally you will have experience of mentoring/coaching of ASYE/Newly Qualified social workers and have achieved your Practice Educator award
  • You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • You will be passionate about making a difference and putting children and families at the heart of what you do.
