Are you looking for a new challenge? We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Social Worker in our Front Door Safeguarding Hub

  • An energetic, creative and experienced Social Worker
  • Someone who is open to discussion, challenge and new ways of thinking
  • Confident in your decision making and understanding of threshold
  • Ability to work as a valued member of the team but also on your own initiative
  • Supportive and kind colleague knowing when its time for a cup of tea and a chat
  • Someone who is committed to working hard for our children, young people and families
  • A dedicated worker who is not afraid of hard work
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate well with colleagues
  • Be able to communicate with our children, young people and families as well as our partners and other professionals
  • Be able to complete work within statutory deadlines and be able to complete tasks quickly and accurately to maintain consistent team performance
  • Extensive experience of working with children and families as a Social Worker
  • To participate in team meetings, learning & Development sessions and training opportunities
  • Be open to help and helping others
  • Good sense of humour and willing to share your personality with us

Children’s Safeguarding Hub

You will see a supportive multiagency environment, with great administration support as well as a fully supportive leadership team. You will be part of a team responding to children who are in need of help and protection and you will have a manageable amount of work to complete as part of a very well resourced team.
