‘Introduction about the team’
This role is based within the Beverley Children and Family Centre, providing a wide intensive range of administrative support to staff from different services. The teams supported by the business support team are the Beverley Strengthening and Supporting Families Team, the Children’s Assessment Service Team and the Children Looked After Team. The practitioners we support assist families from pre-birth to 25 years providing a range of services from early help to safeguarding involvement. We offer the right help at the right time so that families feel supported.
‘The Right Candidate’
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and self-motivated individual to join this busy business support team providing a wide range of administrative support including minute taking to the above teams within Children’s Services.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and committed to providing a quality service, have a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to a changing environment. To undertake this role successfully you will need to be customer focused, able to work easily withing a challenging environment, have excellent administrative and organisational skills and have the motivation and desire to achieve a high-quality service. You should be able to demonstrate effective use of a range of ICT systems and software packages.
As well as a high level of customer service, the ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive information is paramount. Teamwork plays a vital role as does the ability to meet deadlines and work on your own initiative.
This is a great opportunity to have an insight into Children Young People Support and Safeguarding Services and the invaluable support we provide for families in the East Riding.
