The job itself

Driffield Northfield Infant School requires a lunchtime supervisor to cover maternity leave and as supply. We are looking for someone who has good communication and organisational skills. The successful applicants would need to be a team player and be able to bring a creative aspect to the school to help make the lunchtime experience fun and enjoyable for the children.

Duties include:

  • Ensuring the lunchtime environment is safe and secure
  • Helping younger children to eat and use good manners
  • Supervising and interacting with pupils on the playground to promote positive play
  • Liaising with colleagues and reporting accidents and incidents to relevant staff
  • Assisting the kitchen servery as required
