Description

The job itself

We are seeking to recruit a senior kitchen assistant to start as soon as possible working as part of a team of kitchen staff which includes a full time cook and three general kitchen assistants.

We have a busy school kitchen which caters for approximately 250 meals per day working to local authority menus and Food Safety Standards. We also provide transport meals for two other local primary schools. The postholder will be required to work alongside the cook and occasionally take full control of the kitchen in the event that the cook is absent.
