From January 2024, we require an excellent practitioner to join our hardworking and dedicated team. We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated teacher who is committed to delivering inspirational and high-quality lessons. The ideal candidate must share our philosophy that every child should have the opportunity to realise their full potential; to be encouraged to raise their aspirations; and have the opportunity to learn in an environment that is safe and guided by our code that values truth, responsibility and respect.
Applicants are encouraged to indicate the additional strengths and areas of expertise they would be willing to contribute to the school, should they be successful. To enable the shortlisting procedure to be fair and accurate, applicants should state how their skills and expertise meet the essential criteria of the post as specified in the accompanying Person Specification.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has evidence of excellent practice as a classroom teacher within either Key Stage 1 and/or 2
- Has excellent classroom management skills
- Has evidence of leading a subject
- Has the highest expectations of children and themselves
- Is enthusiastic, imaginative and forward thinking
- Has the ability to inspire, motivate and engage children to achieve and succeed
- Is able to form positive relationships with children, staff, parents and governors
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Is passionate and enthusiastic about developing their teaching career
