Holderness Academy & Sixth Form College is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be required to work as part of a team of teachers, teaching assistants and other professionals under the direction of the Assistant SENDCo and Enhanced Resources Provision Manager delivering supportive and challenging learning. They will work under the guidance of the Line Manager, adhering to the Academy’s and the Trust’s policies and procedures at all times.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people in an educational setting and the ability to establish good professional relationships with students and colleagues. The successful candidate will have an understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and the ability to contribute to the development, monitoring and review of Education Health and Care Plans.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent professional and personal standards and have a willingness to learn new skills and undertake professional development. The appointed person will promote excellent behaviour and conduct, be committed to safeguarding and student welfare, and should also be keen to engage in the wider life of our community school.
