We are seeking an enthusiastic ARC Learning Tutor to support our student’s education. Based within the Headlands ARC team you will undertake activities with individual students and participate in the implementation and evaluation of their support programmes.
Our Learning Tutors want to make a difference by enabling students to learn, promoting their independence and helping them to achieve. You will also support the implementation of their Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Ideally, you will have experience of working with students and have some knowledge of behavioural and learning difficulties and strategies utilised to support our students. Knowledge of an educational setting is desirable although transferable skills gained in another setting would be acceptable. In addition, you will have a good standard of education to enable you to effectively support students in a classroom setting.
