Required September 2024 to lead the Geography Department and teach KS3, GCSE and A Level Geography
We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher seeking their first Head of Department post, or for someone who is already a successful Middle Leader, to lead our forward-thinking Geography Department.
We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated and talented teacher who is eager to inspire and challenge: someone who can encourage a love of Geography and has a passion for learning. There is an excellent induction programme; a range of experience in the department; and access to the latest evidence-informed CPD.
Beverley High School serves the East Yorkshire market town of Beverley and its surrounding villages. We were delighted that in 2021 Ofsted saw what we see every day, fabulous young people working very effectively with our hugely dedicated and highly skilled and knowledgeable staff team. We are proud that the regulator recognised the very many achievements of our staff and pupils and particularly their acknowledgement that Beverley High School always puts the interests of pupils first; inspires a love of learning; has a culture of high ambition; and enables pupils to reach their full potential. We are justifiably proud of our pupils and staff and look forward to working with someone who wishes to share our vision and contribute to our future successes.
You can download the application form and associated documents from our school website https://www.beverleyhigh.net
