Support Worker
The job itself
We are looking for an enthusiastic support worker for a teenage boy with autism. He is a friendly and chatty young man and would like a worker who will engage with him in subjects and activities he enjoys, such as fairs, history and music. The ideal candidate will need to have a good understanding of autism and experience supporting individuals with additional needs. The role will include going out for walks to the shops to work on independence skills, going swimming and various other fun activities in the holidays such as going to museums and live music events.
Some personal care will be required.
A car driver is essential.

DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority.
