Support Worker required for a young man in his 30s, living in Beverley in his own home, who Is blind and has autism.
Duties are to support him with all aspects of daily life and accessing the community, including household duties, shopping, swimming, visits to the cinema, church, pub, etc.
He likes to be active but also requires downtime. You would have access to his car for trips out.
You would be supporting a team of four that have worked together for many years. We have various hours available, early shifts and late shifts. Earlies 8am-3pm, lates 3pm-10pm plus a sleep over. We also have flexibility with the hours.

The Direct Payments Support Service is an in-house service provided by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The service promotes independent choice and inclusion, allowing our service users to employ their own care and support as needed. We support many individuals with varying abilities, assisting with advertising and recruitment for a range of roles including support workers, carers and personal assistants.
Some travel across East Riding of Yorkshire may be required, applicants must be able to transport themselves.
