We are looking to recruit two support workers to work together to support an 11-year-old girl with autism, associated learning and communication needs and epilepsy. She is a fun and loving girl who enjoys accessing physical activities within the community, such as swimming, Rebound, going to the park, and days out. She comes from a loving home with parents who can share their knowledge and experience to support the right candidates to allow them to have short breaks. The ideal candidates will have experience of autism and epilepsy, including focal seizures. The role may include administering rescue medication, therefore experience of this would be advantageous, however parents are able to provide support with this. The role will include some personal care; therefore, the ideal candidates will have experience of delivering this. Due to the nature of the job, the candidates must be able to drive and have access to a car.
