Support Worker
The job itself
We are looking for a Direct payment worker you for a 9-year-old happy boy with global development delay and hypermobility he will need personal care.
His interests include swimming, soft-play, parks, water play, Gymnastics and being outside. The worker should have knowledge of working with children with complex needs and should be approachable and confident in working with young people. Access to a car is essential. The worker will need to be firm but fair in their approach and not be afraid to put boundaries in place. The worker will also need to be flexible and understand that the day’s activities may be led by how the boy is feeling. The family would ideally like a worker that can commit to doing long term work with the young person.
