The job itself

A lady who is 41 living in Bridlington, requires a Support Worker to cover 80 hours over a 4 week period. Hours to be arranged via a rota system over Monday-Sunday. Weekend work to be discussed, not working all weekend, must be flexible. There may be additional hours available to be organised in advance.

The lady has some complex health conditions and mobility issues, uses various walking aids for short/long distance walking.

Duties will include – supporting her to practice Catholic faith, support to go out in the local community to attend social activities, support to doctor/Local hospital appointments, support to go shopping and support to go to a prayer group.

Ideal candidate would be someone who has previous caring experience. Must have a driving license and use of own car.

The role does include personal care therefore A genuine occupational requirement for a female worker exists for this post under the Equality Act 2010 due to privacy and decency.

DBS/Reference checks will be required – Cost to be met by the local authority
