The job itself
Gentleman with mobility difficulties in Skidby is seeking support workers for 14 hours per week. This will be to support every 9 – 10 AM and every 5 – 6 PM. However, there is flexibility with these times.
Interests and hobbies of gentleman include listening to music, streaming websites such as YouTube, TikTok. Has lived across several areas including London and Australia.
Duties will include meal preparation including breakfast and evening meal, light domestic chores general cleaning tidying, pots, laundry, and other household tasks as and when required.
Applicants need to be flexible, honest, hardworking, and caring. We are seeking care workers who are sensitive to and able to positively manage and respond to the needs of the cared for person, promoting privacy, dignity and always maintaining confidentiality. The successful applicant will have an understanding nature and be supportive and patient with the ability to manage situations and vulnerabilities.
The candidate should be enthusiastic, resourceful, and proactive and have a good sense of humour. Effective communication is essential therefore the candidate must be thoughtful and considerate in their communication and actions.
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority.
