The job itself

A lady living in Hedon with FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) requires a Support Worker for 9.5 hours per week. This lady currently has no verbal communication.

Duties include supporting the lady to undertake household domestic tasks, supporting her to go out in the community and some minimal personal care (only after swimming).

The ideal candidate would be someone who understands disability, is caring, flexible and has a good sense of humour. They must like dogs and be able to use their own imitative. An outgoing personality would be suitable for this role. The candidate must be a car driver and have use of their own car, for which mileage expenses will be paid.

DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.
