A 20-year-old young man, living in Driffield, is seeking a Support Worker for 10 hours per week during term time and 18 hours per week during the holidays.
The young man has diagnoses of learning disabilities and autism. He has interests and hobbies in things such as: all things Marvel related and going to the cinema, train and bus rides.
Duties include: to support with the development of social skills, encouragement, and motivation to participate in activities out of the home such as attending the gym, going for walks, etc.
We are seeking applicants who are supportive and patient, with a good sense of humour.DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.

The Direct Payments Support Service is an in-house service provided by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The service promotes independent choice and inclusion, allowing our service users to employ their own care and support as needed. We support many individuals with varying abilities, assisting with advertising and recruitment for a range of roles including support workers, carers and personal assistants.
