The job itself

Carer required to support a gentleman living in North Cave. He is a full time wheelchair user and uses a ceiling hoist for moving and handling. Training is provided for new employees.

The gentleman requires support with personal care, washing, dressing, showering, support with meals and assisting to eat. He needs assistance to read the newspaper and generally setting things up for the day ahead. The Carer would be required to complete small household duties, i.e. ironing, etc.

Hours of work to be fulfilled are:

  • Morning - 6 hours per day, Friday and Saturday, 8am to 2pm

DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.
