The Accountancy Section provides a centralised financial support function and is committed to delivering a high quality service. 

We are looking for an Accountancy Assistant with extensive accounting experience. You will carry out a range of accountancy work including budget preparation, budget monitoring, closure of accounts and providing financial analysis and advice in support of senior accountancy staff and service managers. Experience of supervising staff in an accountancy environment is desirable.  You will be either AAT qualified or studying towards a CCAB qualification or have equivalent qualifications. 

You will have commitment, demonstrate a good team working approach and have good written and verbal presentation skills.  You will also need to demonstrate that you can embrace change and, in particular adapt to new technology.
