Hallgate Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Nursery Nurse to join our existing preschool. This area of school has developed significantly in recent times, and this is an exciting opportunity to be involved in developing the key worker role, having a positive impact on the progress of our youngest pupils.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have successful experience of working in a busy preschool setting, including within the role of key worker, and be able to make a substantial contribution to the progress of children in our preschool.
  • Be innovative, creative and have a passion for the early years.
  • Be committed to supporting the development of individual children, ensuring they have a firm foundation and important key skills on which to develop in the future.
  • Be prepared to encourage independence and foster a love of learning.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively and work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors.
