We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work 1 to 1 with a pupil in year 3. Some small group work and general Teaching Assistant duties will also be necessary as part of the role.
We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic candidate who has experience working with children with additional needs, is creative and takes pride in ensuring pupils make good progress. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver 1 to 1 activities and literacy and numeracy interventions, use their initiative, make decisions and be able to work effectively with staff across the school. Opportunities will be offered for further professional development as part of the school commitment to continuing professional development.
The ideal candidates will have had experience of working from teachers’ planning, giving clear feedback, ensuring assessment are up to date and be able to build strong relationships with both parents and staff.
This post is temporary because it is linked to the length of time the child attends Hedon Primary School.

If selected for interview, an online search will be conducted for candidates. This is in line with KCSiE 2022.
