Are you a positive and proactive individual with excellent time-management and customer care skills? Do you enjoy multitasking, working to deadlines and using your own initiative? Are you looking for a role where you can develop your skills further and be part of a strong supportive team? The Council’s comprehensive HR advice hub currently has excellent opportunities available.
ERYC's HR advice hub handles all first line employment queries from pay to recruitment, and all associated employment queries in between - no two days are ever the same! You will join a busy team that acts as the initial point of contact for incoming telephone calls, emails, web enquiries etc, on matters relating to staff terms and conditions and Council policies and procedures, advising managers, employees and potential applicants as appropriate.
You will have knowledge of employment terms and conditions, pay legislation and experience of working in a pay or HR related function would be advantageous.
You should be able to input accurately, manipulate and extract information from the People Services information system and other IT software applications used by the Council to complete accurate employment documentation.
The advice hub is a strong team of 13 Employment Services Assistants who all work excellently together. Team working is imperative both within the advice hub, and cross-departmentally within the larger Business and People Services teams.
We have various opportunities available, full time, part time, permanent and fixed term opportunities to 31 March 2024. Please state your preference on your application form.
