The East Riding of Yorkshire Council is looking for a Senior Leader in its Housing Services.

The service includes:

  • Management and letting of circa 11,000 Council Houses, including 6,000 applications per year, and 1,650 homelessness applications.
  • Management of responsive repairs circa 40,000 per year, capital budget of £32M.
  • Communities services including anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse and traveller sites.
  • Healthy Homes functions including disabled facilities and fuel poverty.

You will report to the Head of Housing, Transportation and Public Protection, directly line manage 8 staff and lead services of approx. 150 staff.

You will be based in historic Beverley in the beautiful East Riding of Yorkshire; close to the coast and the Yorkshire Wolds with great communication links to the rest of the country.
