This is an exciting opportunity to join The Healthy Homes Team. You will be part of a team aiding in the delivery of a comprehensive service allowing vulnerable people to remain living in a safe, warm and adapted home. The post holder will enable the improvement of the health and wellbeing of our residents by delivering grant funded schemes providing disabled aids and adaptations, heating and insulation along with advice and support.
We are looking for someone who is innovative, positive with a ‘can do’ attitude, has plenty of enthusiasm and the motivation to deliver. The successful candidate will have a good level of general education with knowledge of current Housing Assistance legislation and experience of working with the general public. You will work closely with both Technical Officers who produce plans and costings for adaptations required and the Occupational Therapy service providing disabled aid referrals.
You must have a good knowledge of local authority processes with excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, and able to liaise with a range of partners to deliver the best outcome for clients. A full driving licence is required for this post.
Part time hours will also be considered for this role.
