A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Crime and Community Safety Analyst to join the East Riding Business Intelligence team. The role is a newly developed post funded through the East Riding Community Safety Partnership.
This role is an externally funded role through the East Riding Community Safety Partnership and will be employed through the East Riding into the Business Intelligence Team to allow for the most suitable working environment for the post-holder. This will offer the post-holder the unique position working between other analysts and the wider Community Safety network.
The postholder will be responsible for developing, researching, analysing and interpreting information to provide high quality analysis and research to support and influence the priorities and deployment of partnership funding and resources. This will include the development of our annual Joint Strategic Intelligence Assessment.
The postholder will also be supported by peers across Humber in the adjoining Community Safety Partnerships by their analysts and by the Information and Outcomes Analyst within the new Humber Violence Prevention Partnership to develop approaches inline with the locality area.
Within the East Riding Business Intelligence Team you will be part of a pool of flexible analytical resources who have collective responsibility for identifying new and emerging issues as well as understanding how the authority and partners are performing and reviewing the effectiveness of our response to these issues.
