The job itself

The Construction Management Services group, within the Infrastructure and Facilities Service, are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the Commercial Management team, based at County Hall in Beverley.

The post holder will provide comprehensive support to Infrastructure and Facilities undertaking a range of duties which are administrative and contribute to the effective running of services. This will include maintaining effective filing systems; document management; invoice and payment processing in line with corporate financial systems and telephone duties.

The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, be well-organised, self-motivated and have good IT Skills. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

A knowledge of Council financial systems and procedures would be desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Flexible working opportunities are available including agile working, compressed hours, and flexi time.
