Keldmarsh Primary School is an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' primary school, based in Beverley and we are looking for a Play Co-Ordinator to lead and manage the successful after school club with the support of a Play Worker. Keldmarsh Primary School promotes strong opportunities and a supportive team. We are looking for a dynamic and focused co-ordinator, who will prepare and organise imaginative and innovative activities suitable to the needs and interest of children aged 4-11 years old, including the supporting of homework.

You will assist in providing fun and nutritious snacks for children, be a point of contact for the handling and resolving of concerns from parents and be responsible for ensuring the safe collection and departure of children between the school, club and parents.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an excellent practitioner with a good understanding and experience of all stages of primary education;
  • Has a positive approach to managing children’s behaviour;
  • Is passionate about teaching, learning and children,
  • Holds a suitable childcare qualification. (NNEB, NVQ level 3 or above in childcare),         
  • Holds a GCSE Maths and English at minimum grade C
  • Is hard-working, creative, enthusiastic and flexible;
  • Works effectively as part of a team;
  • Understands the importance of maintaining accurate and confidential records; and
  • Is an excellent communicator with all stakeholders including parents, pupils, staff and contractors.
