We are a residential care facility for older people and have an exciting opportunity for you!
We offer permanent placements and short stay (respite) services for older people in the Market Town of Pocklington. The home has been awarded a ‘Good’ rating in all areas from the Care Quality Commission and we pride ourselves on a quality and continuous improvement culture.
You may be already experienced in working in care or looking to start your first job in care. If so, this job may be right for you. Full training and support will be provided to develop your superpowers - from your induction and throughout your career. We also offer the opportunity to gain Diploma in Adult Care qualifications.
You will use your positivity and compassion to help others to provide high quality care and support that enables residents to achieve the best quality of life. You will be part of a large professional team, and as a Care Assistant you will be you will have a varied working day, supporting all residents to maintain daily living skills and to develop new ones.
We do consider requests for different working hours, or casual work patterns. Please highlight this on your application if you would like us to consider this.
