Due to the retirement of the current post holder we are looking for the right person to join our hardworking team in the Wolds Federation as a site manager. The Wolds Federation is Beswick and Watton School, Bishop Wilton School and Middleton on the Wolds School.
We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking individual who is passionate about making a difference for children and families. This is a crucial role to make sure our schools are clean, safe and secure and the buildings run well.
Mainly based at Middleton on the Wolds CE Primary, you will support teaching and learning by undertaking the efficient cleaning, maintenance, safety and security of the school building and the safety and security of the school grounds. You will also be required to take a lead role across the three federation schools, monitoring the effective delivery of the health and safety policy and the cleaning and caretaking function. Since some travelling between schools will be required, you must be able to transport yourself between the three sites.
The perfect candidate will be able to follow procedures and protocols, work as part of a team. Ideally, they will have ability to carry out basic handyman tasks. Most importantly they will be a team player, with a good sense of humour and a passion for doing a great job. Full training will be given and a handover period has been arranged with the current post holder.
