Refuse Collector
The job itself
You will work within a team of refuse collection operatives providing a high standard refuse collection service to the residents of the East Riding.
We seek a person who has knowledge of the multi commodity refuse collection provided by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and preferably refuse collection experience. A suitable level of fitness is required to cope with the physical demands of the job, i.e. the ability to walk for a minimum of 5 hours a day and the dexterity to move loaded wheeled bins. With the ability to work outdoors in all weathers and ability to start work early morning. Initiative, good customer care and communication skills are essential for this post.
