The role:

We seek an enthusiastic, committed, and motivated person to support projects designed to achieve savings and to improve quality, efficiency, and performance of Council services. This role provides an exciting chance to be involved in projects making a real difference to the lives of our residents.

The job will involve engagement with managers, project staff and subject matter experts to review current practice, analyse information, and seek ways to improve service delivery, reduce costs, and/or generate income. There may be opportunities to engage with senior managers to share your findings and recommendations for change.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support relatively complex business change projects to completion
  • Lead on small change projects
  • Support the development of project plans and monitor improvements
  • Research and analyse information and make recommendations
  • Produce reports

To be considered for the role, you will ideally have the following skills and values

This job is appropriate for a secondment opportunity. Potential candidates must obtain their line manager’s prior approval.
