We are currently recruiting for an ICT Desktop Services Team Leader to join our ICT Infrastructure & Customer Support Team based at County Hall, Beverley, East Yorkshire.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced ICT engineer to join our ICT Desktop Services Team based at County Hall, Beverley. The primary responsibility will be managing the Desktop Services team, managing the staff and monitoring the daily workload, as well as overseeing the Council's Desktop Refresh Programme. You will also be required to provide technical advice on projects, provide mentoring and third line support to junior engineers, as well desktop support to end users.
It is expected that the successful candidates will have an in-depth knowledge and experience supporting desktop computers and applications, installing desktop equipment, and working on large scale projects, Experience managing and mentoring staff, alongside workload management would be advantageous, however full training can be provided if necessary.
This role also requires a good understanding of ICT Security, and the techniques and tools used to protect against and cyber-attacks and vulnerabilities.
The post will operate on a hybrid working model.
