Please see below criteria which is used throughout the assessment process. This has been set out to explain what is measured at each stage of the application process. To progress to the interview stage, applications must clearly demonstrate how they meet all of the essential criteria.

Has the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite with an ability to produce letters and spreadsheets.

 

Has experience using various methods, including the internet to research information and produce a report of findings.

   

Has customer service experience with good oral communication and interpersonal experience.

   

Has the confidence to represent the council as an ambassador at recruitment events.

   

Has creativity to support the delivery of recruitment advertising content.

   

Is clear, thorough and accurate. Capable of working on own initiative.

   

Is committed to work towards and achieve (and does not already hold) the L3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard

   

Has the ability to work under own initiative and solve problems.

   

Has experience of managing competing priorities and demonstrates excellent organisational and time management skills

 

 

Desirable Criteria Assessment
Application Interview

Has an understanding of either recruitment legislation, payroll legislation, employment legislation.

 

Has an understanding of web analytics.

   

Has experience as a system administrator to input information to an external web site.

 

Track record of continual personal development. Evidence of self-improvement to extend personal abilities.

   

 

Job outline

Overall purpose

Under supervision to provide a comprehensive confidential and efficient end to end appointment processing service for the Council, including volunteers ensuring relevant terms and conditions are met. Whilst disseminating information and providing guidance on any aspect of the employment service to support a customer focused corporate appointment service and undertake and achieve the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.

Principal accountabilities - under supervision

  1. To support the Resourcing Solutions Project Lead with recruitment campaign content delivery.

  2. To create and design page content on the council careers site, in line with the marketing content strategy.

  3. Maintenance of data studio and google analytics reports.
  4. To support the Resourcing Solutions Project Lead through data collection.

  5. Representing the council at associated recruitment events.

  6. Supporting other areas of People Services with administrative tasks linked to delivery of HR support and contractual documentation.
  7. Gains an understanding of legislative requirements impacting on resourcing and appointment processes.
  8. Any other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the grade and level of responsibility of the post.

  9. In this role you are required to speak English with sufficient fluency to effectively perform your duties, as required by Section 42 of the Immigration Act 2016.
